What the market is
The Orange County Farm Bureau lists the Laguna Beach Farmers’ Market among the 11 certified farmers’ markets it runs in the county. At a certified market, the Farm Bureau explains, farmers sell fruits, nuts and vegetables directly to the public, and the county agricultural commissioner inspects each farmer to make sure they grow what they sell. The Farm Bureau says it opened the first certified farmers’ market in Orange County nearly 40 years ago.
Day, hours and place
The Farm Bureau lists the market every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon, rain or shine, and notes that it is closed on the Fourth of July. The address it gives is 521 Forest Avenue, across the street from the Lumberyard Shopping Center. Visit Laguna Beach counts more than 40 vendors and farmers. Schedules can change, so check the Farm Bureau’s market page before you drive in.
What the booths sell
Visit Laguna Beach lists vendor categories rather than named stalls. They include organic fruit, juice and kombucha, free-range eggs, farm-fresh meat, fresh flowers, honey, avocado oil and coconut oil, granola, broth, hummus and dips, salsa and hot sauce, empanadas, crepes, and coffee and tea. It also lists aromatherapy essential oils and hemp CBD. Which of these show up on a given Saturday is up to the vendors.
Parking and getting there
The market’s address is also the address of the city’s Lot 12, the Lumberyard Lot, and the city’s directory gives that lot two entries. The summer entry says it is for city employees and authorized festival volunteers only, with no public parking. The off-season entry, for the season the city dates September 8, 2026 to June 25, 2027, lists it as a public lot. Public lots the city lists nearby include Lot 2, the Peppertree Lot at 322 Forest Avenue with 36 spaces, Lot 10 at 725 Laguna Canyon Road with 63 spaces, and the Glenneyre Structure, Lot 6, at 501 Glenneyre Street with 208 spaces. Check the parking guide for rules and permits, and the getting around guide for the free trolley.
Coffee and breakfast near Forest Avenue
Three downtown places are listed on this page. Rye Goods is on Forest Avenue and is an organic sourdough bakery with a deli and specialty coffee. Zinc Cafe & Market is on Ocean Avenue, and its site lists a market and a cafe at the Laguna Beach shop. Greeter’s Corner is on Coast Highway and serves breakfast. More options are on the coffee and bakeries and breakfast and brunch pages.
Pairing it with the rest of the morning
The market is in the Village, the same part of town as the Forest Avenue shops and Main Beach. The one day in Laguna page plans a full day in town, from morning tide pools to a bluff at sunset. Vendors, hours and the lot rules can all change, so confirm with the Farm Bureau, whose listed phone number is (949) 301-9180.
