Search Laguna gathers Laguna Beach in one place: things to do, where to eat, where to stay, trip planning, every beach and neighborhood, and guides to living here. Pages describe places by what they are and where they sit, and each one lists the sources behind its facts.
Who publishes it
Realatrends Real Estate publishes Search Laguna and is its real estate sponsor. The firm is a locally owned Laguna Beach brokerage, licensed as DRE #00925482, with its office at 1178 Glenneyre Street in the Village. Its broker is R. Clark Smith IV (DRE #01415777). Because the sponsor is a brokerage, a reader who asks a real estate question through this site may become its client. The real estate page introduces the sponsor.

How we list businesses
Restaurants, hotels, tour operators and galleries appear because they fit the page, never because they paid. Each is listed A to Z and linked to its own website, with the date we checked that site. We do not rank businesses, print ratings or sell advertising.
Editorial policy
- Sources. Pages list the sources behind their facts at the bottom, with the page we read and the date we read it.
- Figures. Market figures come from CRMLS: closed sales and the number of homes for sale. Each sale figure names the period it covers. We leave out any figure computed more than three days before the page was published, and a neighborhood median needs at least five sales; with fewer, the page says so.
- Photos. Photos are Creative Commons licensed or used with permission. Each carries its credit line, and the photo credits page lists every photo with its photographer, license and source. We do not use AI-generated pictures of real places.
- Fair housing. We describe places by setting, streets, housing types and what is nearby. We do not say who a neighborhood suits, call a place safe or unsafe, or rank schools.
- Updates and corrections. Every page shows the month it was last reviewed. To report an error, use the contact page.
