  • Resorts Resort pages list each property's own site, including Montage, Surf & Sand and The Ranch.
  • Oceanfront hotels Hotels on the sand and the bluff, with Surf & Sand's Aquaterra Spa among them.

Resort spas

Two resorts describe a spa with treatment menus on their own sites.

Spa Montage

Spa Montage is the 20,000-square-foot spa at Montage Laguna Beach. Its page lists eucalyptus steam rooms, dry redwood saunas, ocean-air whirlpools, fireplace lounges, a fitness center, a movement studio and a lap pool. It also lists indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, a signature couple’s suite and an outdoor cold plunge. The spa posts hours of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., the fitness center is open around the clock, and the salon keeps 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The spa’s FAQ says people who are not staying at the resort can book treatments, with reservations required in advance. The number is (949) 715-6010. The resorts page has the resort’s own link.

Aquaterra Spa

Aquaterra Spa is at Surf & Sand Resort, 1555 South Coast Highway. Its page describes eight treatment rooms and an ocean-view couple’s treatment room, and massages in 60-, 90- and 120-minute lengths. The spa’s Coastal Wellness Series meets on weekend mornings, with yoga at 8 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and Beach Boot Camp at 9 a.m. on Saturdays. It is free for resort guests, and as of October 2026 the page lists $25 for guests who are not staying at the resort. On weekdays from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Laguna Midday Escape pairs a treatment with a two-course lunch at Splashes. The page also lists a spa membership and a $375-per-person Girlfriends Coastal Glow Escape for groups. The spa is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and says it takes outside visitors by appointment.

Day spas and massage

House of Hudson at The Ranch

The Ranch at Laguna Beach links its spa page to House of Hudson Day Spa, which calls itself a boutique spa within the resort. The page lists massages and body treatments, facials, an infrared sauna and a sauna and cold plunge recovery bundle. It posts membership prices of $130 or $180 a month on a 12-month term as of October 2026, valid Sunday through Friday. A membership includes a 60- or 90-minute massage or custom facial and a weekday pool pass. The page lists no single-treatment prices and no hours. Changes within 24 hours of an appointment carry a 50 percent charge, and no-shows are charged in full.

Spa Eiko Massage

Spa Eiko Massage is at 1276 South Coast Highway, Unit F. Its site names Thai massage as its specialty, lists hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays, and sells gift certificates. As of October 2026, its services page lists regular prices of $80 for 45 minutes, $105 for 60 and $155 for 90.

Yoga and Pilates studios

Two studios list classes on their own sites.

Laguna Beach Yoga is at 312 Broadway. Its home page lists classes, memberships, yoga teacher training, private sessions, Reiki training, self-care days and a boutique. It shows no prices or schedule on that page.

LiveMetta runs a Laguna Beach studio at 610 North Coast Highway, Suite 206. It lists Reformer Pilates classes and yoga classes, including Flow, Yin Yoga & Sound, Vinyasa and Gentle Flow. As of October 2026, its Laguna Beach page lists a new-student special of two weeks of unlimited yoga for $35, a half-price first month on any membership and a free Reformer orientation class. Class times are on its schedule page.

The Ranch’s home page also lists restorative yoga on Saturdays and Sundays.

Check before you book

  • Spa Montage and Aquaterra both say people who are not staying at the resort can book. House of Hudson’s page does not say, so ask.
  • Read the cancellation terms. All three spas ask for 24 hours’ notice. House of Hudson charges 50 percent for changes inside that window, and Spa Montage and Aquaterra charge the full price.
  • Spa Montage says its prices already include a 20 percent service charge, and Aquaterra adds a 20 percent service charge to each treatment.
  • Confirm hours. Spa Montage, Aquaterra and Spa Eiko post hours, and House of Hudson does not on its Laguna Beach page.

Getting there

Aquaterra is at 1555 South Coast Highway, Spa Eiko at 1276 South Coast Highway and The Ranch at 31106 Coast Highway. The city’s free Coastal Route trolley runs along Coast Highway from North Laguna through downtown to South Laguna, every 20 to 30 minutes in the non-summer season that runs through June 25, 2027. The parking guide covers lots and permits. If you want to get outside between appointments, the hiking guide and the kayaking page cover the options, and the romantic getaways page pairs a spa visit with dinner and a sunset.
